Introduction to Cylinder Mould
Cylinder mold paper machines are mainly divided into string type, diagonal type and winding type.
A cylinder mold paper machine consists of main shafts, grids, spokes and spacers. The spokes are arranged at equal intervals on the main shaft, with wire frames installed on the spokes, and stainless steel support parts evenly distributed between the main shaft spokes.
Stainless steel support rings are fixed at the outer ends of the support rods. The grids are assembled along the outer edges of support steel rings and spokes, then tightly wrapped and fixed with stainless steel wires.
The cylinder mould features light weight, excellent corrosion resistance and lower energy consumption.

Working Principle of Cylinder Mold Paper Machine
In the papermaking process, the cylinder mould acts as a core forming platform, which converts pulp suspension into continuous wet paper web.
Forming
The outer surface of the cylinder mold paper machine is covered with forming fabric. Paper pulp suspension is evenly sprayed onto the forming fabric of the cylinder mould via the headbox. As the cylinder mold paper machine rotates, water drains through the mesh structure, and fibers gradually deposit and stack to form the initial wet paper web.
Support and Dehydration
The integral structure of the cylinder mold paper machine provides stable and reliable support for the forming fabric. The rotating operation drives the circulating movement of the forming fabric, and accelerates water removal by relying on gravity or vacuum dehydration. This enables tight bonding between fiber materials, and creates a solid foundation for the subsequent processes including pressing, drying and finishing.
