1. Open Type Headbox Paper Machine
The open type headbox paper machine features an open-top structure with a relatively low internal pulp liquid level. This traditional headbox design is specially applied to low-speed paper making equipment, with a stable operating speed generally below 300m/min.It is widely adopted for mass production of corrugated base paper, common cultural paper and other medium and low-grade paper products, with simple structure, stable operation and low daily maintenance cost.
2. Air Cushion Headbox Paper Machine
Different from the open structure, the top of this headbox paper machine adopts a fully closed design. Compressed air is injected into the sealed cavity to form a stable air cushion inside the headbox, which effectively stabilizes the pulp liquid level and realizes balanced and uniform pressure transmission across the entire width.The air cushion headbox is perfectly suitable for medium and high-speed paper machines with a running speed ranging from 300m/min to 1000m/min.
