The paper calender machine is mainly used to calender various cultural papers such as news paper and relief paper, improving the smoothness, glossiness, and tightness of the paper web, making the thickness of the paper web uniform, and improving the appearance quality of the paper.
A calender machine uses a set of rollers with a very smooth surface to calender a paper web. The upper roller is the active roller and is driven to rotate by friction with the lower roller. When the paper web passes through the pressure zone between the calendering rollers, it is subjected to the combined effect of roller pressure and surface friction, which improves the smoothness, gloss, and tightness of the paper.
This machine is equipped with pneumatic pressurization to increase the line pressure between rollers, pneumatic disengagement device, rolling bearings, and thin oil lubrication.

Functions of each part of the paper calendering machine
1. Roller: The core executing component of paper calender machine, the hard roller needs to have high strength, high temperature resistance, and surface wear resistance (such as chrome plating); rubber rollers have elasticity and aging resistance to ensure even pressure transmission.

5. Control system: Equipped with PLC or DCS system, real-time monitoring of parameters such as pressure, temperature, roller speed, paper thickness, etc., to achieve automatic adjustment of paper calendering machine and ensure stable calendering quality.
